Across the 25 measured models, the most common tuning is bass-heavy (13 of 25, 52 percent). Next most common: dark (6), near-neutral (5).

The model that needs the least correction is the Ears Hero, with no band more than 1.5 dB from neutral. The one that needs the most is the Ears Bravado, off by up to 7.8 dB before EQ.
