The FitEar house sound, by the numbers

Across the 16 measured models, the most common tuning is dark (7 of 16, 44 percent). Next most common: bass-heavy (4), warm (2).

The model that needs the least correction is the Private 222, with no band more than 3.0 dB from neutral. The one that needs the most is the Fitear, off by up to 6.2 dB before EQ.
