Across the 28 measured models, the most common tuning is bass-heavy (11 of 28, 39 percent). Next most common: near-neutral (5), warm (4).

The model that needs the least correction is the Fit Pro, with no band more than 1.5 dB from neutral. The one that needs the most is the urBeats, off by up to 7.1 dB before EQ.
