Across the 12 measured models, the most common tuning is bass-light (4 of 12, 33 percent). Next most common: dark (4), bass-heavy (1).

The model that needs the least correction is the AirPods Pro 2 (ANC mode), with no band more than 2.2 dB from neutral. The one that needs the most is the iPod Ear Buds, off by up to 6.1 dB before EQ.
